Too many bugs – ecosystem problematic…

Those who use it as a base for something more than a simple e-shop have to add so many plugins, and have to ensure all are working together, so it becomes too expensive and problematic to keep things under control

cannot dare to update no new version in a live site if before “everybody” else first has faced all important issues that surely come up – cannot risk live sites – this cannot be a serious solution – important pieces & processes are missing

we all know and u must drive the ways to resolve them

it is a free product as a base but then we pay too much for anything on top

we need to make the whole ecosystem better – otherwise it cannot be used in serious e-shops

thx all for support & contribution

    tasos

A lot of this is down to the vendor. I think I mentioned in your support topic, all WT stuff gets tested prior to launch, and devs are notified. Now if a certain vendor does not test, does ignore deprecated function notices, does not release updates, obviously thats going to go wrong eventually.

I see to recall your actual problem being due to your prices however; that was due to your import, not any particular plugin.

Have you looked at the cost of addons for other platforms such as Magento? It could be a lot higher for similar products. Most plugins for WC are income generating, so its hard not to justify them being paid.
