# Too Long Server Load Time

 * Hi, I wonder if someone could help me please:
    My website is [http://www.ladybugjewellery.com](http://www.ladybugjewellery.com)–
   started since October 2013. Since then I’ve been trying all means to optimise
   load time. I have W3 Total Cache and have optimised everything possible that 
   deals with bandwidth (I hope). However, the site still takes more than 10seconds
   to load (on a good day). When I run my speed tests on [http://gtmetrix.com/](http://gtmetrix.com/)
   I get to know that it is all about “waiting time”.
 * I would really appreciate if someone could kindly help me further. I’m worse 
   than a rookie on coding but hope to get this right.

 * check trace route and you wil find a pretty long path there.. check dns and cdn
   settings etc..

 * Hi Shadez,
    Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve run the trace route was you suggested,
   but I have no idea what would be a “normal” path length…
 * I can check my dns and cns settings but don’t really understand them and know
   what to change…
    Alternatively, I can contact them and ask for help, but what
   shall I tell them to do? Thanks, P.
