Too less possibilities with uploaded pictures?

  • Hi!

Do you think, the number of possiblities, what you can do when uploading a pictures, is too small?

Well, I think, that it is a pity that WordPress cannot calculate preview pictures itself. Now, I am really thinking of changing to another CMS system, just because WordPress lacks of this one thing. It’s really a pity.

What I miss are simple functions as they can be found i.e. at Blogger: I want to upload a picture, which size ever, and the blog software should make a preview sized picture out of it, so it becomes suitable for blog use. Also, a basic configuration of a picture’s appearance would be very, very helpful.

What do you think? How did you solve those things at your places?

Well, I could resize the pictures myself, in COREL something. But what if I want to add a blog article when being in an internet café on holiday, just with the latest photos on USB cam?

    Looking forward to replies :).

    Yours,

    Stefan

  • I’m not quite sure exactly what you want, but have you tried the ImageManager plug-in? I think it might do what you need.
