In my opinion all will depend on your business.
If you have a little website with low monetization you can see expensive any plugin, so the option to use litespeed can be enough.
But in other scenarios, the option to achieve nice green numbers in pagespeed with great speed/optimization that is good for seo, is a cheap solution, and most for complex websites where other plugins fails.
There are other alternatives very much expensive doing some cheats or generating the optimization outsited of the server.
If you ask for a budget to a company to check and optimize your website, can cost you thousand of euros.
And with the plugin not only you get the solution, the 50% of his value is the great support fixing specific website situations, and they are very fast.
So if you balance the cost / results for the most of the websites, probably is the best actual solution.
It depends, I found AccelerateWP which is supported by my server and it brings my site speed up to 97% and the TTFB response time is much faster now.
Yes Seraphinite Accelerator is good compared to other plugins but not the best.
I searched for alternatives to it and found it, and free, offered by the server.
So I saved money.
If Seraphinite Accelerator wasn’t so expensive, I would have paid and stayed with them.
Yes they are a small shop that I have paid on other plugins to have them legit. But adding them all together they add up to a large amount of money.
I don’t need to pay a big company to help me with optimization, those can be done easily if you have the right plugin and AccelerateWP is very good and free.
