  • Documentation is poor. I am trying to create different lists. One would think there would be a create list button somewhere. Nowhere to be found. Two days trying to figure it out, nothing from support. I’m moving on.

    Case in point. Documentation reads:

The subscriber can be associated to one or more lists in different ways:

as set on subscription configuration panel where a number of lists can be specified and will be assigned to every new subscriber (selected lists can be public or private)

There is nothing about lists on that page.

    Top menu, list building, lists.

    Documentation: https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/documentation

    Thank you, Stefano.

Which really begs the question. Why are there two menus? With different taxonomies and content? If that isn’t the definition of confusing, nothing is.

And getting through lists in the upper menu is NOT in the documentation.

Taxonomies? Content? Are you using Newsletter plugin? Check on admin side menu the red icon with label “Newsletter” and on submenu you get “List building”. Enter that main section and on top you have the full menu.

Could you explain me which kind of taxonomies are your looking inside a mail marketing plugin like Newsletter?

    Thank you, Stefano.

Taxonomy: The layout of the menus. Content: What is in the menus.

You imply the top menu changes based on choices made on the admin panel, it does not.

Would be good to hightlight the top menu based on what is picked in the admin menu.

    And update documentation.

Now it’s more clear, thank you for your suggestions.

    Stefano.
