  • I loved this plugin at begining as a simple way to add a whatsapp button on mobile

    But now it evolved to a monster of options, divs, etc

    It would be nice to have a lite version

    Hi, Leonardo. It’s true that the plugin has progressively added more options, but it’s also true that to make it work you don’t need to fill in everything. Since you install it, we only ask you to do 2 things to make it work in your web: 1- Enter your phone 2- Save changes.
    🎉 You already have it working on your website. Do you want to try it?

    Thank you but i’ll pass

    Only needed this in functions.php:

    add_action('wp_footer','dcms_add_footer_whatsapp');
    function dcms_add_footer_whatsapp(){
    	$tel = "#####";
    	$ms = urlencode("@@@@@");

        //$url = "https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=${tel}?text=${ms}";
        $url = "https://web.whatsapp.com/send?phone=${tel}?text=${ms}";
    	$img = get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/assets/css/whatsapp-icon.svg';
    	echo "<div id='float-whatsapp' class='show-for-medium' style='position:fixed;bottom:5px;right:5px;z-index:999;'>";
    //  echo " <a href=${url} target='_blank'>";
        echo " <a href=${url} >";
    	echo " <img src='${img}' width=40 height=40 />";
        echo " </a>";
    	echo "</div>";
    }
