Token Mismatch

I am trying to reset my password via codex phpMyAdmin. Going through the instructions, I made it where it asks me to remove letters, numbers, etc. under user_pass. I selected MD5 and entered a new password. It created a “Token Mismatch Error”. I am stuck there and cannot reset it to its original setting or back out of the page. No matter what I do it brings the error message up.
