    Hi

Since update to 1.3.1, the toggle switch is no longer displayed in the menu. After rolling back to 1.3.0, it is displayed again.

    Best regards

    Hi

I noticed that there is an advanced setting in the menu toggle settings. However, when I attempt to drag the toggle switch into the menu, a message appears stating that I must upgrade to the Pro version.

However, this function is advertised as a free option on the plugin page, see:

☰ Display Toggle Button in Menu – Dracula Dark Mode also allows to display the dark mode toggle button in any of your website navigation menu for an easy interacting & time-consuming dark mode enabling or disabling option for visitors.

    Best regards

    Hi Jpkarmatech,

Thanks for reaching out, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We’ve made adding the Menu Toggle Switch in the latest version of the Dracula Dark Mode plugin (v1.3.1) much easier and more user-friendly. To add it, please follow these steps:

    1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Menus.
    2. Under the Add Menu Item section, you’ll see an option labeled Dark Mode Switcher (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/G14DbaA3zOQr).
    3. Select Dark Mode Switcher and check the option Dark Mode Switcher Checkbox (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/X6MYPuR19d_5).
    4. Click Add to Menu, then click Save Menu.
    5. The toggle switch will now appear in your menu (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/bzlJ-jl-F5mm).

    Here’s the final outcome: https://prnt.sc/Ut6rjF7A9rsL

Regarding your other query: please note that the Menu Toggle Switch is a Pro feature of the Dracula Dark Mode plugin (v1.3.1). To use this feature, you’ll need to purchase the Pro version of the plugin.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

    Hi Sassad Hossain

    Thank you for your explanations.

Why does this feature since 1.3.1 require the Pro version?
On your WP plugin page, this feature is offered as free, see:
    https://www.testsite.karmatech.ch/wp-content/uploads/Free-Features.pdf

I use this plugin on several websites. I am seriously considering using a different plugin if this feature now requires the Pro version.

    Best regards

    Hi Jpkarmatech,

I’d like to apologize for the confusion in my previous message regarding the Menu Toggle Switch and the Pro version.

The Menu Toggle Switch is completely free and available for all users. To enable it, please follow these steps:

    1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Dark Mode Settings > Toggle Switch > Menu Toggle and enable Display Toggle In Menu.
      (Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/hB3ZlN81Nl1h)
    2. Navigate to Appearance > Menus.
    3. Under the Add Menu Item section, you’ll see an option labeled Dark Mode Switcher.
      (Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/G14DbaA3zOQr)
    4. Select Dark Mode Switcher, check the Dark Mode Switcher Checkbox, and click Add to Menu.
      (Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/X6MYPuR19d_5)
    5. Finally, click Save Menu.

The toggle switch will now appear in your menu.

    Here’s the final outcome: https://prnt.sc/Ut6rjF7A9rsL

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Hi Sassad Hossain

I followed your instructions exactly, but when I klick on Add to Menu, it asks for the Pro version, see:

    Hi Sazzad Hossain

I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, but unfortunately nothing has changed.
I still get the message that the Pro version needs to be installed.

    Addendum
I cleared the browser cache and tried again. But now the wheel next to Add to Menu keeps spinning forever and the window for the Pro version installation no longer appears.

    Addendum No. 2:
The following identical website runs with the Dracula plugin 1.3.0:
    https://www.smart-webdesign.ch/
Here, the toggle switch in the menu is still displayed correctly.
