  • Hello @janenco ,
Thanks for reaching out to us.

I can understand the issue you are having with. I have tested the Checkout Shipping Method widget properly but couldn’t be able to reproduce any issue with it in my development environment. You can check this video for a better understanding.

As everything is working properly in my development environment, maybe there is something on your end that is preventing the Checkout Shipping Method to work properly. You can run a plugin conflict test on your site to determine if there is any plugin that is causing that issue.

To do so, please deactivate other plugins except for ShopEngine, Elementor, and WooCommerce and check if the issue still persists. If that solves your problem, activate the plugins one by one, and continue checking the issue until the problem comes back after activating any specific plugin. I hope it will help.

Let me know the update after running the plugin conflict test. We are always here to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit

    Hello @janenco ,

Thanks a lot for sharing the video. Can you please share which theme you’re using currently? If you can share the System Info of your site, that’ll be very helpful. I will create the same environment and check for the issue. We will take further action if any problems are detected.

You can find the System Information by navigating to Elementor > System Info. If you’re not comfortable disclosing sensitive information from the System Info, then you can remove those information before sharing it here.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

Currently Hello Theme, but changing to another standard WordPress theme doesn’t solve the problem so it’s not theme dependant.

    Hello @janenco ,
I hope you’re doing fine. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Sharing the Login Access in this forum is not recommended. Since this is a Public Forum, your credentials will be exposed publicly, which is not good. I hope you’ll take care of this matter in future.

Since you’ve shared the access willingly, I have checked and understood the issue. The issue with the Shipping Method is happening only with the Template you’ve created previously. I’ve created a new checkout template using one of our Demos and placed the Shipping Method widget there. The Method selection is working fine inside that template. Kindly check this video for a better understanding.

Maybe there is something wrong with the previous template that is preventing the Shipping Method feature to work properly. If you want, you can use the Template I’ve created or create a New template as per your needs. I hope you’ll not face any issues after that.

Let me know if there is anything else that you need help with. We will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks Prosenjit,

Now I see. The Shipping Method can not be moved or this problem occures.
    Probably a plugin coding error?
It can only be placed above the Order Review widget or it works buggy. Once you drag it above the Order Review widget it stops working.
Maybe this should be mentioned somewhere. I see a few others with exactly the same error on this support forum. This can create a lot of frustration and lost time. At least it did with me, searching hours for a solution in disabling plugins, themes, … While it’s just a Shopengine Plugin error.

    Hello @janenco ,
I hope you’re doing fine and I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I’ve checked by changing the Position of the Shipping Method widget and have successfully been able to reproduce the issue in my development environment. It has already been forwarded to the dev team for further review. I hope it will be resolved very soon.

Sometimes some bugs are pretty much hard to trace. Changing the position of a widget should not create any issue but somehow it did. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience you had. We will try our best to solve it as soon as possible.

If there is anything else that you need help with, please let me know.

    Best Regards.
