    We find the toggle open / and close to be bad UX. IE: the user clicks the button once to open the messenger box. to close the messenger box they need to click the same button again. there is no indication that the user needs to do this to close the message box. and therefor remains open and clutters the page resulting in a bad ux experience for the user. Can this be rectified?

    The live chat box used to come with an ‘x’ to easily close. Unfortunately, Facebook removed this ‘x’ and auto open the chat box. Zotabox can not override this, but we agree with you that the close box feature is now hidden and not obvious to visitors. Hopefully Facebook will add the ‘x’ button back soon.

    Facebook has not updated their ‘x’ button yet. We are at their mercy on this issue.
