• I have installed WordPress on a local server which will be used by a group of us.

I would like to add a To Do List widget to the sidebar of the blog’s main page. I’m not talking about the plugin that is located here: http://wordpress.byexamples.com/2007/01/29/our-todo-list-plugin/

I need a widget that behaves a lot like Remember The Milk’s Google page widget. I want users to be able to dynamically add items to the list and also mark them as completed. Specifically, this will be a shopping list, where people in the group will say “I need more paper” or something and the people who are in charge of processing orders will take care of it.

With a dynamic list in the sidebar, we can form an inventory of what has been ordered recently.

Anyways, is there a way to add Remember The Milk or something similar to it to a WordPress sidebar? I’m using WordPress MU. I was hoping that all the different users would be able to access this single list. Thanks.

  • I did a Google search to see if anyone has created a plugin to do this, and so far, it doesn’t look like they have. Either that, they’re keeping it under wraps. LOL

So, if you’re not a programmer capable of writing such a plugin, you may need to hire one to do so.

    Thank you!
