Using latest WP and My Calendar.

The calendar displayed in the Events Calendar widget does not highlight the current date. Have read the FAQ, searched the forum and cannot find an answer that works.
Have added #today { background-color: #EEEEEE !important; } to the CSS Class box in the My Calendar widget, cleared the browser cache and still nothing.

Click here for a page with the calendar – see upper right. Am using the calendar as a full page calendar under the Monthly Events page – current date shows fine!

Please how do I highlight the current date?

    Thanks – Ken

  • Hi Ken,

I checked out your calendar and I see today’s date highlighted in yellow. The styling for the today class is determined by the class .today rather than the ID #today that you show above. Perhaps that’s the problem you’re running into?

Yes – THANKS for your kind reply – that was the problem. I switched from the ‘#’ to ‘.’ and all was well.

    Thanks – Ken

So good to hear that! Best of luck going forward 🙂
