# TOC with Link builder

 * Hi,
 * thank you for all your work that went into this plugin!
 * I’m trying to generate a TOC on a post. If I check the box to insert a TOC and
   update the post, the checkmark is just gone. And no TOC appears. If I set to 
   auto-insert a TOC in the settings, it shows up.
 * Do you have an idea what I might do differently?
    I’m using the Enfold Theme 
   and an advanced layout builder.

 * It sounds like the settings is not being saved. Perhaps due to a plugin conflict.
   Could you please try installing the release candidate for the next version to
   see if it helps? Here is the download link:

 * To install, deactivate and delete the installed version. Then download the release
   candidate and install it as you normally would install a plugin in WordPress.

    installing only the RC didnt do the trick. I checked with the other
   plugins. And if I have the Amazon Associates Link Builder activated, the TOC 
   won’t save. Anything you could do about that?

 * Does the theme or any other plugin you have installed on the site add custom 
   meta fields to the posts page? Do they save changes with Amazon Associates Link
   Builder activated?

 * Yes, I have other plugins on the posts page and they do save settings in the 
   checkboxes with the Amazon Associates Link Builder activated.

 * I do not believe at this time that this is a bug with ezTOC. Another user with
   Amazon Associates Link Builder also has this problem. Please contact their support
   team.
