 * Hello,
 * After the WP 6.2.1 update, TOC shortcode don’t render any more.
 * Will you release a fix or should we all wait for WP to release an update?
 * Thank you for your plugin and assistance.

 * Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience caused you. This is because WordPress has released
   a new version 6.2.1 with some security fixes but that has caused many websites
   to stop working on shortcode.
 * Here is the reference article to know more on this: [https://www.searchenginejournal.com/wordpress-update-6-2-1-causes-some-websites-to-break/487358/](https://www.searchenginejournal.com/wordpress-update-6-2-1-causes-some-websites-to-break/487358/)

 * Thank you very much for your reply. I read the article you shared.
 * Security first so I’ll stop using shortcodes.

 * Hello, WP 6.2.2 solved the issue. However, the future is no shortcodes.
 * Do you have any plans to go full in Gutenberg? **If you use blocks instead of
   shortcodes, your plugin will be future-proof.**
 * Thank you for your consideration.
