• There is a bug with the sliders and thumbnails. It used to fit pictures from any sizes, to the frames in any sizes, as it should be. It used to work fine. But it does not fit pictures to the frames any more. There became a bug. The picture I uploaded at the date November 21st, 2012 worked fine, but when I uploaded exactly the same picture on January 12th, 2013, it doesn’t work fine. The first picture I realize the bug was uploaded on the date December 4th, 2012. So the bug became on the date between November 21st and December 4th, 2012. Are there any WP update at the date between November 21st 2012 and December 4th, 2012 that could cause this bug?
    Especially featured image sizes…

  • This sounds like a theme issue. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    I am using this theme: http://themeforest.net/item/newscast-4-in-1-wordpress-magazine-and-blog/91058?sso?WT.ac=search_item&WT.seg_1=search_item&WT.z_author=Kriesi

    I purchased it from Themeforest. I couldn’t get any support from the support forum of this theme because they blocked me, bcause they misunderstood me.

    I am still doubtful that they get the problem.

    @esmi: Are you sure that it doesn’t cause from WP updats or releases?

    It’s a theme issue – not a WordPress core one.

    How could you be sure like that? Especially it doesn’t work in “Featured Image” part. Anyway to use slider, I must upload pictures using by “Featured Image” part of my panel. There becomes loss of images when the picture fits to the frame. It doesn’t fit whole of the picture into the frame. You understand what I mean?

    Because there is no “fit to frame” functionality in WordPress core.Just because you upload images via the WordPress core Media Uploader, it does not mean that WordPress core is responsible for the way in which the final images are displayed. This type of functionality is handled by your theme.

    I have the same problem after updating wordpress on Dec. 4.
    However, my theme is Chameleon. Don’t you think that is odd that it is doing the same thing with a different theme?

    @missionbasecamp

    Have you asked Elegant Themes about your site – since commercial themes aren’t supported on these forums.

    And next time, please start a new thread – this one is 11 months old and references WP3.5 – which is hopefully, not what you are using.
