TLS works but not SSL

    Hello!
    I have gotten Easy WP SMTP to work with TLS but not with SSL. When I switch to SSL I get the error message:
    SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0) SMTP connect()failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

    And tips/help on what I am missing? The problem is that my outgoing mails are still not verified and some customers to my shop get them stuck in their spam.

    Hi Markus.

    If you’re using your own SMTP server (not gmail of office365), there might be an issue with your SSL certificate. In order to tell Easy WP SMTP to ignore invalid or self-signed SSL certificates, go to its settings, Advanced Settings tab and check “Allow Insecure SSL Certificates” box, then save settings. If this is the case, this should fix it. If not – you’d need to provide some additional details. E.g. which SMTP server you’re using etc.
