The titles on the thumbnails vanished after installing the latest update. I’m using the built in styles and rounded thumbnails. I’m running PHP 7. The thumbnails display fine on my site they just don’t have titles. I’ve checked the options, cleared the cache, and nothing will bring the titles back to displaying below the thumbnails. It happens in all browsers.

  • After about a day, the titles are now showing on my blog. WEIRD! I don’t have any caching and I disabled all caching options from JetPack as well as Sucuri. I even cleared my browser caches using CCleaner and I still had the problem but for some reason, after a day, everything works now. I do have OPCache enable on the server so that’s the only cache I can think of that didn’t flush out when I updated the plugin maybe? Sorry everyone, wish I could tell you why it started working again. Thanks.

Do you have cloudflare or something that would have cached the css completely which might have caused this. The title was the only tweak of CSS in this update

This happened when I clear the cache for the plugin–but only in Chrome. So I’m hoping they will appear tomorrow. Will let ya know.

When the titles didn’t show up today, I checked on another computer. They were there. I had to clear my computers cache for them to show again.

That’s likely because the .css file was cached by the browser.
