How can I make my feed pages (blog, categories, archives, etc.) go to the individual pages? I have the settings in Reading selected to Summary, but I still get full posts. I don’t mind full posts, but users need to be able to go to the individual post pages.

Here is the blog post feed page: http://uppermarlboromd.gov/news-events/

I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

  • Those are category and archive pages, not feed pages. “Feed” refers to an RSS or Atom feed.

This is definitely a theme issue. It’s not including the <a> anchor tags around the post titles.

Embedded pdfs? Not a good idea. Delays page load time.

OK, I read that pages that list pages of posts or of the same categories are known as feed pages. How would I edit the theme so the titles will have links?

I did a search of the code and found a page with a warning on the top that it refers to old WordPress code. Do they call them list pages if they don’t call them feed pages?

I inherited the site with this plugin. It wasn’t embedding the pdfs until I upgraded the old plugin. I’m trying to find out how to fix that or I’ll have to re-edit every page that has the plugin code on it.

Yes, but be sure to do that in a child theme, rather than editing theme files directly.

Thanks. Yes, I do use a child theme.
