Hi Pietro, did you have a custom slideshow template setup, or did you edit the plugin slideshow template directly to add the slide captions?
Hi Josh,
I didn’t edit the plugin. I use the widget.
(I’m not expert with codes)
Are you sure there was captions before? By default Meteor Slides only shows the slide images, you have to customize it to show captions.
I’m sorry, I forgot to reply.
You was right, I costumized it and now I made it again and the problem is solved.
Thanks a lot,
Pietro
I have a similar problem my friend, could you please suggest what to do?
Hi,
I added the code:
<p><?php the_title(); ?></p>
in the:
includes/meteor -slideshow.php
And than I added the following code in meteor-slides/css/meteor-slides.css:
.meteor-slides p {
background: rgba(0,0,0,0.7);
bottom: 0;
color: #ffffff;
left: 0;
font-size: 40px;
font-family: ‘comic sans ms’, ‘tahoma’;
line-height: 40px;
margin: 0;
padding: 2%;
position: absolute;
text-align: left;
width: 96%;
}
Thanks for sharing Pietro!
Hi Josh,
I actualized the plugin again and I had the same problem. I added again the same codes of last time but this time the CSS changes doesn’t work.
Do you know why?
Thaks a lot,
Pietro
Hi Pietro, can you post a link so I can take a look?
Now is working fine, without any change.. I don’t know why..
Good to hear that it’s working anyways.
