    Hello,

I’ve come across several tutorials that demonstrate how to create title tags and meta descriptions. However, most of these tutorials have the ”Titles & Metas” as a drop-down box under the plugin. I don’t have this on my dashboard under the plugin – and I don’t have the ”Advanced Settings Pages” as a feature.

    Any help?

The ‘Titles & Metas’ and ‘Advanced Settings’ options were moved in a older version of the plugin so the tutorials are likely outdated.

You can change the SEO title and description templates to meet your specific needs with the steps here: How to modify the default templates

You can change the SEO title and description for an individual post or page by editing the post or page and clicking ‘Edit Snippet’ in the Yoast SEO meta box.

If you would like video tutorials, we have a YouTube channel and a free Yoast SEO plugin training to help you get the most out of the plugin.

I can only change the templates, I am unable to change it for individual pages, since I don’t have the ability to ‘Edit Snippet’. Moreover, if the ‘Titles & Metas’ and ‘Advanced Settings’ were moved, where did they move to, so that I can enable it?

‘Titles & Metas’ is now called ‘Search Appearance’. The advanced settings were moved to different areas depending on the setting. Which advanced setting option are you looking for?
