Hello @hbk747,
Thanks for reaching out. I was able to replicate the issue. Please share a full screenshot of what you have in the social tab of the Yoast SEO meta box when you edit /university-of-punjab-pakistan/. Also, share a screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types > Posts.
You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.
Thanks for the screenshots. To share effectively on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp, you need Open Graph tags. So, filling out the social title and social image fields generate two essential tags – og:title and og:image. The former isn’t filled out while the later is, the tag is still missing in the source.
For /university-of-punjab-pakistan/ specifically, first, fill out the social title field. Next, remove the current social image and re-upload then save changes. Afterwards, try the following:
- Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
- Go to Tools > Yoast Test
- Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
- Go to Admin > Yoast SEO > Tools
- Click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.
Do let me know how it goes.

I did all this, cleared cache but it still doesnt work. The title and the image dont show properply.
If we take the example of the latest post https://www.paradigmshift.com.pk/gulf-allies/
When I share this the title is fine (without have a social title) but the image is not displaying (despite having a social image). As I said something recenntly has gone wrong otherwise I would not have to add social image or titles at all. It would be picked up automatically.

For the post you referred to, the og:imagetag is missing. Due to the nature of the issue, we’ll need to take a look at your setup. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum. You could consider purchasing a Yoast SEO Premium subscription since it comes with email support. Then we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately.

Hello,
That’s a bit unfair that I have purchase Yoast’s paid version to get help.
If the public forum is the issue, we can discuss via email. Yoast has always helped me in the past despite not having a paid subscription.
