Title Truncating with Customizable Post Listings

    How would I be able to truncate %post_URL% in my customizable-post-listings.php file like [randomc.animeblogger.net] has theirs?

    I was able to make my recent comments appear as
    MM/DD: Title

    but I can’t seem to figure out how to truncate it so that it fits into one line.

    Please help, thank you very much!
