    Hi,
If I install a fresh version of WordPress (in Swedish) with nothing but default theme and Yoast (latest versions)
Under Yoast > Title and Metas > Archives, I can see Swedish textstrings loaded for “Title templates” as expected (as well as plugin messages and menus in Swedish).
If I change admin language and WordPress site language to English, then Yoast menus and messages are switched to english however text strings for “Title templates” stay in Swedish.
What controls this? can I make ”Title templates” reflect the current language?
…If I start the install with English WordPress then I can´t seem make “Title templates” text strings other than English language when I change WordPress site language
    Thanks!

  • Hi,

Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen ( https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ ). If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or theme.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts.
