Title: Regulation 165/2014 of the European Parliament
    Keyphrase: Regulation 165/2014
    Slug: regulation-165-2014-of-the-european-parliament

SEO analysis shows a major problem (with red bullet) -> Keyphrase in slug: (Part of) your keyphrase does not appear in the slug.
Surely “/” is the cause of this problem.

Please fix that for all titles with a “/”.

  • Hi,

We would like some more information as we are not able to reproduce the red dot on our end. In our testing it showed green.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO Premium, v11.7? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    2. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.2.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    3. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    4. Can you provide a link that highlights this issue?

    5. What language is your site in? You can go to Settings-General-Site language. If English, what kind? UK, US etc.

    6. If you go to your Settings-Permalinks what kind of permalink structure do you have for the URL?

    Hi,

Thank you. We were able to reproduce it. The issue is with the Slash. Yoast is looking for it in the permalink and cannot find it as WordPress does not output it. So it tosses out that orange dot.

However, we thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins. We’re not working on it at the moment but we’ll create a feature request for skipping over the slash when it is part of the title and a keyword for the purposes of analyzing the slug, so our developers can consider this when planning updates.

In the meantime, we suggest signing up for our newsletter as that is where we will announce product changes and updates. You can sign-up for it here https://yoast.com/newsletter/.
