Title over featured image

    Hi guys, i am using a modified version of the WhitePress theme (http://onlywp.com/demo/#whitePress)

    There is a featured image at the top, and I want to know how I get the title of the post to sit over the image with a black transparency behind it?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im so close to finishing and uploading it.
