    Generally speaking, you can hide a page title using this CSS:

    .page .entry-title {
       display: none;
    }

    You can add the CSS using a CSS plugin like Jetpack or Custom CSS Manager. Don’t edit the theme’s files directly, or your changes will be lost the next time the theme is updated.

    If i go to a page on my site, eg ‘home’, then the menu shows im on the home page, but then there is another heading before my post that says ‘home’.
    I dont know where to go to take the seccond heading off for all my pages.

    As was mentioned in the previous post, you want to install a CSS plugin like Custom CSS Manager and then copy & paste this rule:

    .entry-header {
       display: none;
    }
