  • Hi, I’ve just been going through my crawl errors in Google Webmaster Tools. In some cases I have a small typo creating the problem, in other cases WP appears to have named my page differently than I thought.

To solve each problem I’ve been using a plugin called 301 Simple Redirects, or a close variation of those words. It works really REALLY well 🙂

Many thanks for your reply. It’s pcrepairswansea.co.uk. I’ve created a new installation on another directory now and that seems to work ok. But the live site still has this problem.

I’ve created an empty post and now the front amp page has used that post title. Page not found was because there where no posts only pages even though amp was set to display a homepage not a post.

My home page was showing proper title but amp home page was showing page not found title but displaying the content of my home page, I created an empty post and now my amp home page is displaying the title of that post but showing the content of the home page.

I will be leaving good feedback shortly, one other problem though, the home page is working ok now but other pages are blank template pages. you can see the difference between https://pcrepairswansea.co.uk/apple-repairs/amp/ and https://pcrepairswansea.co.uk/apple-repairs. I tried adding content into the AMP content at the bottom of the page editor and selected use AMP content but it still shows a blank page. I’ve also tried creating a post with the same name and that still displays a blank page with just the header and footer.
