Title in Header

    In the Site Title and Tagline, is there a specific way to override the forced capitals.
    I’ve searched for the font arguememnt that dictates this, but so far, little luck.
    Can anyone point me to the variable I need to change, also is it the style sheet or another .php file I need to change?

    That’s set here in the style.css file:

    #site-title a {
        color: #000000;
        font-weight: normal;
        letter-spacing: 0.1em;
        text-decoration: none;
        text-transform: uppercase;
    }
    #site-description {
        display: block;
        letter-spacing: 0.1em;
        margin: 0.9em 0 2em;
        text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    But you really should not modify the CSS directly — but rather use a child theme or custom CSS option or plug-in. Once you have that set up, add this to the CSS:

    #site-title a, #site-description {
         text-transform: none;
    }

    Massive thanks for your help on this.
    I’ll attempt to find a way forward after reading the child theme documentation.
    Appreciate your help.
