Support » Plugin: ICS Calendar » Title as Link

    OK, spent a bit of time with this and want to be sure I’m in the right. The documentation says to use linktitles=”true” to make the titles link to any link that may be in the description. Does this apply to attachments as well? The use I have is that the user is attaching a google doc to the calendar entry. It shows up in the pop-up with eventdesc=”true” linktitles=”true” both used with link below the title. I’d love the title to link to that attachment, so I just used linktitles=”true” without the eventdesc=”true”, but then no links showed. I hope I’m just missing something – my entire string is as follows:

    title=”false”  hidetimes=”true” linktitles=”true” hidealldayindicator=”true” nomobile=”true”

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Links and attachments aren’t the same in the feed. Events can have a link defined in the feed by the URL parameter, but attachments are under the ATTACH parameter and are handled separately.

    You can link to attachments though — the link will just appear along with the description, not as the title itself. Use attach="true" for this.

    It looks like I forgot to add instructions for attach in the documentation. I’ll do that in the next round of updates.

    Very cool. Thanks. That’d be cool if the title could link to the attachment as an option – feature request! Thanks again for the exceptional support.
