Hi @kkid1ove,
That sounds like an odd issue. Do you have the page where this is happening online? If so, can you please post the link here? Alternatively, can you send a screenshot of the problem? I’d have to take a look to of further assistance!
Cheers,
Mike
Sorry Mike, I had copied link and totally forgot to include. Please see link below:

*the black font appears above the white editable font on all category pages
Thanks for sending that through. Interesting website, bookmarked!
Here’s what you’re seeing:
– black title: The title as automatically outputted by WP Tiles. It’s a <h4>
, which are styled black in your theme
– white title: The byline according to the custom byline template in WP Tiles
I think you have set up a custom byline template to output the title of the event? That is why you are seeing it double now.
Quick fix: You can disable the black title from WP Tiles by adding hide_title=true
to the shortcode.
However, I would recommend also to try making your headings on the tiles white, so that search engine bots recognize the event title as a title!
Cheers,
Mike
Haha thanks, you’ll normally find more events posted!
Thanks so much for your help. I guess my next question would be how to make those automattically outputted black tiles white? Because yes you’re right I definitely want the search engine bots to pull it.
I’m assuming the <h4> means I have to adjust the coding, which I’m clueless about completely, but if you tell me what to say I can maybe hire someone.
Thanks heaps!
