  • I don’t see a way to limit the number of selections a person can have when “multiple choice” is the question type. Is there a setting somewhere, if not maybe you can introduce it in the future. Example: Multiple choice (5 choices) you may select up to 2. Some other plugin’s have “minimum” and “maximum” selection choices.

    Hello kuipo,
Thanks, we will consider your idea.

The checkbox was created to give users the option to select one or more items in the list. It works the way it was created. We will evaluate your idea together, thank you,

    Some suggestions:
    a) Integration with buddypress/buddyboss so user can post poll in activity streams and display results on their profile page, visible to all (ony for their poll if they decide to open up the statistics).
    b) Restrict poll by username and not only IP
    c) shortcode for page/post to show statistic to public for any polls selected by admin to be made public

    Thanks!!!

Great first impressions, but I need for users to be able to take the same survey repeatedly. When I tested and tried to take the same survey a second time, the page only shows that my survey was already submitted. I didn’t see a way to make this change. If it’s not there, is it possible to add the option?

Is it possible to only load Perfect Survey’s CSS styles and JS on pages where there is a survey? Please make this an option in future versions. Thanks for the plugin!

Dear @bcrowell to allow all users to remake the same surveys you need tu reset all data.
Remember: this action delete all data in your single statistic page. Make dump for first with download CSV Button

    Dear Perfect Survey Team,

I really like the minimalism of your plugin.
A few suggestions that I would like to see:

    1. Hidden fields to capture additional data
    2. Computations on the results screen would be nice and may offer you to target people that look for ‘quizzes’
    3. With the last point in mind, allow the admin to assign values to answers (e.g. a rating question might want to have “Very much”, “Neutral”, “Not at all” as shown answers but treat them as values “1”, “2”, “3”
    4. An option for users to reset their results (get a new session_id I guess) to retake the test. This option could then be enabled/disabled in the backend (i.e. “Allow users to retake the survey”)

    Best,
    Ilke

Two more thing I’d like to add:

    • When using the matrix question format with longer answers and answer items,
the mobile responsiveness could be improved.

Check for instance your own example:
      https://www.getperfectsurvey.com/restaurant-evaluation/
“How do you rate our restaurant?”

If you limit the browser width to a large extent, the answer options get cut off.

I think a best practice is to put the tick boxes below each answer item at some point.
      (like this site for instance)

    • A bar/scale for the rating questions would be nice. So users can pull/click on a bar with some pre-set ticks.

    Thanks!
    Keep up the great work!

Dear @ilke01 , thank you for the precious ideas and your time you shared.
We will also improve the plug-in thanks to you.

    See you soon,

First of all Great Job in what you have created so far… Really impressive. I would love a way to have two shortcodes for a survey. One where someone takes the survey and another where only selected people could see the results.

I also had a challenge loading an image… what size image works the best?

    Again, thanks.

    Dear @hcameron,
the images are positioned as a background to ensure correct responsivity. This means that some details of the images could be cut. It is always advisable to maintain a square aspect ratio and set not in rows but in columns from the settings panel of the image application.

What you ask is to have a shortcode with the surveys to be placed on other pages?

Like @bcrowell I need my users to take the same survey regularly (say every 2 weeks) over a year. This plug-in suits me perfectly, except for that feature.
Survey results will be presented in a graph to the individual participant (x-axis is time), ie. we cannot clear data after each time a participant has filled the survey! It would be great with a time-out option, allowing a user to repeat the survey after a certain amount of time.

Dear @klarsen21 , we are working to improve this aspect. As you can imagine, the requests are many. We do everything possible to satisfy you all. The next release will be ok for you.

I have an improvement suggestion concerning the way surveys are displayed in responsive mode (mobile/tablet). In the following scenario:

Multiple questions (display one at the time) on mobile phones.

When the user answers to a question on a smartphone (especially if it’s a long one) and press the “go to next question” button, the text of the following question is not centered on the screen but users need to scroll up to find the new question. This is very annoying. Is there a way to anchor each question to the top-screen position so that when a series of questions are displayed one by one they always appear centered on the mobile screen? Hope I made a clear point. Thanks
