TinyMCE strips paragraphs for users not logged in

  • I’m using the EditorMonkey implementation of TinyMCE for the comments form and it has a strange habit of stripping out all paragraphs or line breaks in the comment. The result is a big run-on comment. This does not affect users who are logged in, though the only logged-in users are both admins. Since the author has more-or-less abandoned the plugin, I can’t go to him with questions. I can readily reproduce the issue in both Firefox 2 and IE6.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I don’t want to ditch the editor if possible (it has some great upload features).
