[Resolved] TinyMCE editor disappeared in Firefox

All of a sudden, the TinyMCE editor is no longer available if I’m using Firefox. (!) I cleared cache and cookies.

It works fine if I use the Chrome or IE browser.

I can use Chrome instead, but I’m used to using Firefox – and it’s just a little disconcerting.

I’m using the latest TinyMCE (it worked with FF after update) and upgrade WP a while back, no problem. I can’t remember when I updated FF to version 27.0.

    Any ideas?? Thanks! Vicki

That’s strange. My first thought would be a JS error, but that will break it in all browsers. Maybe you have a Firefox plugin/addon that is interfering? Still worth it installing Firebug and checking the console for JS errors.

It was a Firefox addon that was the problem! Once “Modify headers” was disabled, the editor was available again.

    Whew – Strange one!

    Thank you!
