Tinydesk app: Unable to access files on my site?

    Not a plugin, I know, but not sure where to post for help on this!

    I can log in to my site OK with the iOS Tinydesk iOS app but…

    I am getting an error message when clicking any of the tinydesk footer tabs…
    “error when getting posts from server”

    Clicking the Galleries tab reports…
    “XML-RPC services are disabled…….”

    Yet google tells me this is enabled by default with WP4.1, so I cannot manually enable it from the ‘writing’ panel of my dashboard!

    Anyone know what’s going wrong?
