# TimThumb & WordPress bug

 * I think I found a bug between TimThumb and WordPress…
 * The issue comes up after the photo is on the website, everything works normally,
   but then if you use the percentage resize tool after… then the image disappears
   from every thumbnail instance on the website.
 * Any advice?

 * Don’t use timthumb? Seriously, there’s really no reason to use it. It was responsible
   for a mass hack a year or so ago and is banned from all themes here.

 * Hi esmi,
 * Thank you for your response but my theme uses it to automatically create a feature
   post photo at the homepage and to list thumbnails of posts like you can see it
   here:

   Archive list thumbnails: [http://mordenminorsoccer.com/category/articles](http://mordenminorsoccer.com/category/articles)
 * What is the alternative for it then? TimThumb came with my theme and I never 
   had security issues with it.
