    Hi,

I am having trouble with timthum, I am using a template with timthumb installed, i have set the cache directory to 777 and 775, but no luck.

I have set the custom field to: http://www.freefoto.com/images/99/00/99_00_20---Site-Information_web.jpg

When I right-click on the pic not showing, I get this url:

    http://domain.com/wp-content/themes/awp-dating/timthumb.php?src=http://www.freefoto.com/images/99/00/99_00_20---Site-Information_web.jpg&w=250&h=250&zc=1

As far as I can tell, this url is corrent (because it shows the url in my custom field) and should display, but it doesnt.

Anyone have any ideas or tipp or tricks I could try??

    Thanks in advance

It's my knowledge that timthumb and WordPress together has problem with files that contains symbols like -, x and others. For example can't I use timthumb with files named for example image-300x400.jpg.

Also, have you checked so that it uses correct file path? Above one link uses freefoto.com and the other domain.com?

I have similar issue with timthum...

I am in process of moving servers... having file path issues with one of the websites that I did not have on the old server. This is one site that I moved to the new server and started experiencing this problem!!!

I am trying to call thumbnail picture like this:

website url: http://www.mywebsite.com and image is pulled from

    /pictures/data/images/image.jpg

    or

    /images/2009/image.jpg

I have the path starting with / but if I remove the "/" the picture shows up. I would like to get this working with path starting with "/" and not have to edit 2000+ entries.

I tried playing aroun with different options in php.ini/apache but no help, actually the config is almost same as the old server so... i don't know what is causing this behavior!

This is a dedicated server with CentOS 5.4 64bit, apache 2.2 and php 5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks
