 * I just realized that you are still using timthumb which is no longer in development
   or being supported. As you probably know, timthumb has been a the bane of our
   existence as hosters and developers due to continued ongoing security issues.
   Do you have any plans to use an alternative codebase or use the internal WordPress
   mechanisms for this?

 * The the latest version in the WordPress Plugin repository no longer uses timthumb.
   You are now able to import and store thumbnails locally. If you’re importing 
   from many channels, we’d suggest using Amazon s3 to store them.
