# timestamp hook?

 * I’m using a plugin to perform the pinging for new posts. I’m wondering whether
   there is a hook or filter that I can use to inform the plugin when a post with
   an edited timestamp (future post) has been published, so that the post can be
   pinged?

   which you could study. Unfortunately the hackers list is the place where hooks
   and such are discussed.

   link you posted.
