    Hi,

Today we went live with our COVID-19 museum time slot reservation.

Everything works fine, we tested it thoroughly and now bookings come in but suddenly 1 booking (yet) booked a timeslot we didn’t programmed! It’s exactly 1 hour later!

Has it to do with the end user browser or computer time? That’s really weird and it should always be the server time/timezone.

How do we prevent this as this is against the government rules, we have to offer fixed slots with max capacity per slot.

    Kind regards,

    Marcel

    Hi,

Do you have enabled the “Automatic Timezone Conversion” add-on?

The one-hour later was received in both the notification email to the admin and the email sent to the customer and also in the plugin bookings list?

Please check that and let me know any comments?

    Hi,

Thanks for your quick response. No we don’t have that add-on.

That shifted time is everywhere, admin email, booking list and I assume also in the customer email.

    Kind regards,

    Marcel

It’s becoming a real issue, about 30% of the bookings has a shifted time!

Please use the WordPress standard time and time zone.

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for your reply by email and I want to (also) publicly apologize myself for my stupid mistake!

Usually we had opening hours (tue to fri) from 11:00 till 17:00 (and sat+sun 13:00-17:00). Because we only work with volunteers (nobody is paid) and the average age is around 70 years there are not enough volunteers to host those opening hours. That’s why they decided to open only from Thursday to Sunday from 13 to 16.

I started configuring with the “old” hours and last Friday I had to change it and stupid me I made a mistake on the Friday hours!

Thank you very very much for finding this mistake and for this great plug-in, it is really unique!
