I had been using this widget for a page that hasn’t been visited in about a year, so I don’t know when it stopped working. On initial page load, the timer shows for about a second, then disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, and tried checking the box for “Inject JavaScript Inline”. I also tried using different styles. Nothing seems to have made a difference. The page can be seen at http://nemotorsport.com/kanc .
    Any help is appreciated!

Noticed something weird, not sure if it’s related. I can’t edit the hour in the target time for the countdown. The target stays in this format “2016-03-17 HH:11:00”, leaving the hour (HH) as the letters instead of the time. When editing the widget, The hour slider moves but the time in the little pop-out window still says HH and doesn’t change when the “Hour” slider is moved.

Just tested this and it does work on a clean install.
This leads me to believe you have another plugin or theme element that is hijacking the jQuery datetime picker.

But this is clearly the issue. On the front end the target date is:
    'day': 01, 'month': 01, 'year': 1970, 'hour': 00, 'min': 00, 'sec': 00,
Can you disable all other plugins and see if it works then?
if so, re-enable your plugins one by one until the date slider breaks, and let us know the offending plugin.

For a work around, you should be able to manually type in the date…
Fret not, we’ll help get you sorted out in short order.

Thanks for the reply! I’ll have to try disabling/enabling plugins at a later date, as they are being used very shortly and can’t be interrupted. Where would I manually type in the date? The field in the widget won’t let me type (the pop-out date selector comes up right away when the field is clicked). Thanks for the help!

This is what the widget looks like for me.

When I click on the target field, the pop-out window comes up to select the date/time. I can click on the text there and edit the HH field (I couldn’t before but I think that was my display settings causing the window to cover the text field), but as soon as I click “Done” it goes back to HH instead of the hour I entered.

can you copy paste into this field, and DO NOT click done, just click away and save the widget? We were able to manually enter a date, ignoring the jQuery date-time picker.
I know this must be frustrating, but we’ll do what we can to help, even though this issue is being caused by a conflict with another rogue script.

That worked! Thank you so much for your help with the work-around. I understand that it’s likely a problem with another script, and I appreciate your willingness to help anyway!

great. hit us back when you get time to toggle the plugins.

Hi! I got the same issue. If the date is past over, then countdown showing only for 2 second on page loading and then disappear. I tried to disable all plugins, but issue is still there. I guess that there is a conflict with site theme. If the date on countdown is in the future, then everything works well. And i also notice issue with date picker, same as mentioned above.

@romapad – don’t post on a resolved thread. please open a new thread and include a link to the page so we can take a look at what exactly is going on.

    This issue is (still) resolved.
