Hi! We successfully implemented the timeline slider with shortcode a while ago, and now it appears that it’s no longer showing up on our webpage. Below is the shortcode we used prior to this issue

    [th-slider design=”design-1″ category=”history” dots=”false” arrows=”false” autoplay=”true” autoplay_interval=”5000″ speed=”1000″]

And after checking the category within the plugin, we have since made an adjustment to it and hoped to solve the problem, seen below

    [th-slider design=”design-1″ category=”63″ dots=”false” arrows=”false” autoplay=”true” autoplay_interval=”5000″ speed=”1000″]

However, that does not solve the issue.

Please let us know of any potential solutions to this. Thank you!

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here.

Please do not copy and paste the shortcode parameter because it causes the quote(“) issue. Please write manually.

Please check and let me know if you anything else.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ketan,

Thanks for catching the quote issue. However, even with writing the shortcode manually into the page and correcting the quotes (“”), the slider still does not show up at all.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here.

Which place you are added our shortcode?
    Please share a screenshot.

    shortcode in classic editor

    shortcode in tagdiv editor

    Hi Ketan,

Thanks for getting back! The slider is located right after the text ‘Crexi has been named to Built In LA’s 2021 Best Places to Work list in the Overall and Midsize Companies categories!’ as seen via the screenshot links.

Let us know if it’s not implemented correctly? (Though it had been working fine up to a few days ago.) Thank you!

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here.

Please check your shortcode and pass the “category” parameter numeric value, not the category slug.

Please go to the timeline category and refer to the below screenshot.
    https://prnt.sc/109xo73

    Please try the below shortcode.
    [th-slider design="design-1" slidestoshow="3" category="pass here your category id" centermode="true" dots="true" arrows="true" autoplay="true" autoplay_interval="5000" speed="1000"]

Please check and let me know if you anything else.

    Thanks,

    category id

    revised shortcode

    Hi Ketan,

Thanks so much again for spotting the category id. However the timeline slider still does not show up after revising the category id in the shortcode as seen in attached screenshots above.

Let us know of any other solutions. Thank you!

    Hello @crxwp

Its because of WP-Optimize (gzip) plugin. Can you please deactivate this plugin for some time so that we can checkout the issue?

    Hi Anoop,

When we deactivate WP-Optimize plugin, some parts of our site would not be working. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thank you!
