I’ve noticed that, despite the fact I set the UTC time offset in the config, the RSS feed for my entries from my 2.01 WP install do not match. They always show up as UTC time.
The only solution I seem to have found (and I’m not even really sure it’s working) is manually going into wp-rss2.php and changing the two +0000 entries in postDate to values appropriate for my time-zone. (In this case -6000)
1) Is this the only option?
2) If so, why do the RSS feeds not properly get their time-stamp from the configuration of the WordPress install?
3) Is there likely to be a fix to this problem or will I need to maintain my own wp-rss2.php files as WordPress is upgraded?
