    Hi Ajay,

Is there a way to parameter time between counts in minutes or hours? For instance, if I set paremeter to 2 hours, the counter would add no more than once (1) even if the user visits 10 times the post in that 2 hours!

    Thanks again for your help

    Dan

    Hi Ajay,

I also noticed that each time I do a ‘Refresh’ on a post, counter add 1. I guess it’s normal since it counts for a view, but it’s the same user. I tried to figure out how to add a delay between counts for a same user… I found nothing up to now in my test with parameters (I’m unfortunatly not a developer).

    Thanks a lot for help

    Dan

Your observations are correct and it is to track views not unique views. The plugin doesn’t set an cookies or track any user details intentionally.

I debated this for a while but with GDPR, I’ve kept this feature undone as a result.

I might implement it in the future, but need a clean way to set this cookie for a user within the WordPress environment.
