Same problem here.
The photos are there; if you click in the blanc space you can open the picture.
But they are invisible!
Did you have any solution?
I had the same problem, but I think I found a solution: in Settings, changing the Optimization value from Responsive to anything else seems to bring back the thumbnails in the gallery.

Yes, it worked also for me!
Altough now is no responsive, so it works fine in my computer but it doesn’t work in my telephone!

We are trying to understand this issue. Could you list your plugins? Especially if you use image optimizers, or performance plugins.
In the case of @danielaortizphoto, it seems that the src-set is filled with some weird SVG-related data, I wonder if it’s the case for everyone; and why if it’s the case.

Not sure if it’s related, but I have SiteGround Optimizer and recently played a bit with the image compression settings, also enabling the WebP recommended setting.

In my case, If I put the galery in any layout (Tiles, masonry, Justified, etc) + Responsive images my galery become invisible. I tried all the combinations.
As I said, the pictures are there but they don’t load. If I click in the blanc space where the picture should be, it opens in big.
If I change to any layout (Tiles, masonry, Justified, etc) + Thumnail, medium, large, etc it works in all the combinations. But it’s no ideal because now my galeries are not responsive, which is no good)
So the problem is always with the Responsive images.
Does that also happen to you guys?

Can you guys try to disable ALL the plugins except Meow Gallery? As a quick test. I wonder if it’s an incompatibility with another plugin.
Also, someone mentioned SiteGround Optimizer, are you guys all using Siteground?
Had the same issue. Setting the Image size to other then responsive solved the Problem only in the preview.
It seems to be a problem with the delayed loading of pictures in the jetpack plugin. I deactivated this Feature in the jetpack settings under performance and now it works with responsive setting in the meow gallery.
