    We’ve used Event Tickets before, but now my RSVP emails to users are showing up as blocks of html rather than displaying the html as the body of the email. I’ve tried both gmail and private domain recipients via Outlook and webmail.

    They look like this whether html is enabled on the mail reader or not:

    Thanks for getting in touch and sorry about the issue.
    I tried to check the test event you provided but gave me a 404. Could you set it up again? (It can be far in the future so people don’t find it too easily. 🙂 )

    Did you maybe try deactivating all plugins – except for the calendar ones – and switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen and test what happens there?

    I have activated the event. I tried deactivating plugins that seemed likely to interfere, and recent ones, but since it’s a live site, I did not try the theme.

    Thanks for sharing. The test event is in the past so cannot RSVP or buy tickets.

    I understand you don’t want to change themes on a live site. Can you maybe set up a test site?

    I deactivated all plugins except for TEC and Tickets, and got the same problem. I also made sure the event is in the future. The theme is CityGov and hasn’t been updated in a while.

    Hi @papyrusdoc,

    It sounds like it may be a theme conflict then. If there is any way for you to set up a staging site, can you try switching to a default theme, like “Twentyseventeen” and seeing if the issue still exists?
