    Hi,

I’m having a bit of trouble with the alignment of my news ticker text. If you click on the following page: https://www.francophoneafricaarchive.org/ and scroll to the bottom you will see the ticker in yellow with black text. I am happy with the size of the font (though still puzzling how to remove the italics), but I am wondering why the text of the ticker tape disappears halfway across the page instead of continuing into the right hand margin? I’ve tried fiddling with the settings but I’m not making much headway…

Any ideas what might be going wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

It looks like you have a set width of 800px in your ticker’s global settings. You need to remove that value (leave it empty) and save your ticker. It will resize automatically when left empty. When you set a value, the ticker will stay that width no matter what.

The italics are coming from tags that are surrounding your ticker. Check your shortcode in the HTML editor mode and make sure to remove those tags around the shortcode.
