Sure, you can add your checkbox field in a group that’s used administratively, such as the admin group that comes as a default in the plugin.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Will you please explain to me where I can do this, as off I’m not sure where and how to do it.

    Thanks.

Take a look at this article, it explains how to set fields up in the plugin:

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. But this still doesn’t solve my issue.

Let me explain more in depth. Please see blow:

    1. I want a tick box in the backend of wordpress for this plugin, that I can tick if a person submitted his/her details on the form on the frontend, like you already probably saw.

This tick boxes name must be, etc. PAID, so with the attachment send with the subscription, I want to tick the box and this will mean that the person has paid and I can go on and wait for the next person that registers to tick that box.

Like I displayed in the previous message I’ve send. Please scroll up in the conversation.

Please let me know if this will be possible.

    Thanks.

I don’t understand how adding a “PAID” checkbox to the form does not do what you want.

Set up your “PAID” check box in a group that is not set to be displayed. This is explained on the page I gave you. When a payment comes in, find the record for that person in the plugin admin, then open it up for editing and check the checkbox. This record is now marked “PAID”

    Hi,

    This is what I meant:
    http://www.ngpukkandelaar.co.za/errors/tick_box_add.jpg

I added the “paid” name into the “list participants” but not sure how to add a tick box? Can I go forward and edit the theme myself to get this added or rather not?

Please let me know if this is possible.

    Thanks.

The page I sent you originally explains how to set up a checkbox.

However, it looks like you want it to show up on the “list participants” page in the admin…but unfortunately that’s not possible. You have to click on the “pencil” and edit the record to change that.

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting me know.

Apologies for asking, but like you mentioned in your first post, will you please explain to me again on how to add the tick box you where talking about, maybe it could solve my issue.

    Thanks.

OK, first go to the “Manage Database Fields” page in the plugin admin. There are tabs for each group of fields, and also a tab for defining the fields. Choose the “Administrative Info” tab, and near the top, on the left, is a box labeled “new field here…” Type the name of your checkbox in there, then click the “Add Field” button. You will see your new field in the list of fields for that group. Change the “Form Element” setting for the field to “checkbox” and set the “Values” to “paid” then click on the “Update Fields” button.

    That’s it.

Now, when someone pays, open their record for editing and click the checkbox. That will store the word “paid” in their record in that field.

You can refer to Defining Participants Database Fields for more detail.
