Thumbshots… free version Help please.

  • Im new to WordPress and this widget.

    I had things working well until Thumbshots changed their free service. Now I am not sure where to put some code to get things back to normal.

    I need to add this:

    <img src=”http://images.thumbshots.com/image.aspx?cid=uGCDT5NW%2bn0%3d&v=1&w=[Width]&url=[URL]” border=”1″ alt=”Preview by Thumbshots.com” />

    Somewhere. But can’t figure out where.

    A) Any suggestions on where it should go?

    B) Any suggestions on a simple (bulk) way to do it so I don’t have to hand code dozens and dozens of links?

    To see what I have up and running… please see http://www.tesolgames.com/international-teaching-organizations/

    as one of many link library pages I have added to this site-in-progress.

    Thanks, in advance for tips.

  • How did you solve this problem? Thumbs aren’t shown at my blog too.

    Link Library has been updated!

    Once you register with Thumbshots, you will need to put your…um… I think it is called a…. CID…key into Link library and it worked its magic WITHOUT ADDING ANOTHER LINE OF CODE.

    Exactly. Following the new way for Thumbshots to work, you need to register for a free account on Thumbshots to get an API key,. Then enter this key in the CID field, and you will be good to go.
