Support » Plugin: Disable admin notices individually » Thumbs down to annoying Dashboard notifications

  • 1. Useful plugin.
    2. Too bad it’s almost a necessary plugin.
    3. 1-star to all those plugin devs who abuse the WordPress Dashboard admin notification DIV well after a license has expired. I already paid for it, probably don’t want to pay for another minor update, stop bothering me!

On a side note, guys, you have a typo on your Settings page > HIDE ADMIN NOTICES. The 3 tabs read, “All notices” “Only selected” and “Don’t nide.” Me think that last button was supposed to read “Don’t hide.”

Also, please consider removing your “News” Dashboard widget that I had to hard code with “display:none.” ‘Hiding’ it within the Screen Options drop-down is not an option for most of us who then have to resort to using custom css.

You can easily hide the widget in the dashboard using the screen options

Yup, display:none + disabling the screen options drop-down is more efficient for me – I don’t like delivering a site with a cluttered Dashboard page, and I don’t want clients ‘accidentally’ enabling anything from that drop-down.

Recognizing you guys offered this for free, I adjusted my rating. Thanks!

You guys coded a plugin I use on a regular basis, and because you updated it to not show a Dashboard widget, I sent you a donation to help you keep coding!

Hey guys – I spent time reviewing your plugin, not once, but twice. AND then sent a donation.

Would be great to get at least a “Thank you.”
