   of a snapshot of the PDF :/

 * Yes, WordPress now supports creating thumbnails of PDF files. I believe this 
   feature [was added in WordPress 4.7](https://make.wordpress.org/core/2016/11/15/enhanced-pdf-support-4-7/)
   but was dependent upon server support.
 * This plugin only replaces the “Upload from browser” segment of the upload process,
   all standard WordPress upload functionalities are still intended to run, which
   includes making thumbnails of uploaded content.
